Trust and confidence

Buckley and Booth value our customers and visitors to our website and want you to have trust and confidence that we will act responsibly when it comes to any personal data we may obtain from you via this website.

The only personal information Buckley and Booth will collect from you is that which is required for us to carry out our e-commerce business successfully and enable the purchase and distribution of our interior décor and luxury handmade cushions. We will not sell, rent or trade our email lists with anyone else.

Please find explained below just what type of personal data we may hold, what we do with it and how we will keep your information secure.

Cookies within our website may ask permission to be placed on your computer's hard drive. If you agree, these cookies help to analyse web traffic. This means that the web application you use can tailor its operations to your needs, likes and dislikes by gathering and remembering information about your preferences.

Buckley and Booth use cookies to help us analyse data and improve our website in order to tailor it to our customer needs. We only use this information for statistical analysis purposes and then the data is securely deleted.

Overall, cookies help us provide you with a better website by enabling us to monitor which pages you find useful and which you do not. A cookie in no way gives us access to your computer or any information about you, other than the data you choose to share with us.

You can choose to accept or decline cookies. Most web browsers automatically accept cookies, but you can usually modify your browser setting to decline cookies if you prefer, although this may prevent you from taking full advantage of our website

When someone visits www.buckleyandbooth.co.uk we use a third party service, Google Analytics, to collect standard internet log information and details of visitor behaviour patterns. We do this to find out things such as the number of visitors to the various parts of the site and it does not identify any one user personally.  We do not make, and do not allow Google to make, any attempt to find out the identities of those visiting our website.

Mailing lists

As part of the registration process for our e-newsletters, we collect the personal information you provide. We use that information to tell you about new products or promotions; to contact you if we need to obtain or provide additional information regarding our company; and to check every now and then that we're doing all we can to keep our customers happy. We don't rent, sell or trade email lists with any other organisations or businesses.

We use a third-party provider called MailChimp, to deliver our e-newsletter. We gather statistics around email openings and clicks using industry standard technologies to help us monitor and improve our e-newsletter.

For more information, please see MailChimp’s privacy notice. You have the option not to receive promotional emails and can unsubscribe from our e-newsletters at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link at the bottom of our emails or by emailing us at customercare@buckleyandbooth.co.uk
